2024 SUMMER LESSON PROGRAM

We work on freestyle and backstroke followed by breast and fly.

Each session is six 20-minute private lessons.

Lessons don't guarantee swim team openings for 2025 season.

You must be a cabana member to participate.

Summer Session 1: 6/10-6/30

Session 1 M/W:

M 6/10, W 6/12 (time may change slightly due to picture day), M 6/17, W 6/19, W 6/26, *F 6/28 *No lessons M 6/24

Session  T/TH:

T 6/11, TH 6/13, T 6/18, TH 6/20, T 6/25, TH 6/27

WOODLANDS CABANA LESSONS

The cabana also has a lesson program available for anyone wishing to improve their confidence and skills in the water. Please check the website for more information.

The Kermit Group is for swimmers ages 4-6 who are not ready to practice with the Woodlands Swim Team. Kermits should be comfortable putting their face in the water but unable to complete a lap of freestyle.  We will focus on becoming independent swimmers in free and back while having fun!

COST: $400. There are no refunds for Kermits.  As this is part of Woodlands Swim Team, there is no additional fee for the team if/when your swimmer is ready to practice and compete with the team.

Must be a cabana member, which is part of the sign up for your initial session.

Kermits wear a competitive suit, goggles & cap if they have longer hair.

Mandatory evaluation days will determine if your swimmer is ready for Kermits.

Kermits who complete a lap of freestyle and backstroke, exchange air properly and show emotional readiness for a swim team setting will have a 1 week trial on the team.  

Swim team move-ups will occur at the end of the kermit session, those who don't make swim team can move to a lesson program.  

When a Kermit moves to the team, families will have swim team job requirements.
